Larry McCrary

For nearly 25 years, Larry and his family have called Europe home, where he’s played key roles in church planting and strategy across a variety of contexts. Prior to moving to Europe, he was a church planter and pastor in the United States, which gave him a front-row seat to both sending and going. 

He is a co-author of Tradecraft: For the Church on Mission, The First 30 Daze: Practical Encouragement for Living Abroad Internationally, Listen: How to Make the Most of Your Short-Term Mission Trip, and The MarketSpace: Essential Relationships Between the Sending Church, Marketplace Worker, and Missionary Team—all designed to help everyday believers and churches think and live missionally.

Larry and his wife, Susan, are all about running, coffee, and discovering new places together. When they’re back in the States, life doesn’t slow down much—thanks to their two grown kids and four energetic grandkids.
