Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for giving to The Upstream Collective and supporting our missionaries, support raised staff, and programs. Below are some FAQs and step-by-step guides.
To end your current recurring giving schedule:

Email ashlie@theupstreamcollective.org to request your Kindful-Bloomerang recurring gift schedule to be ended.
Set up your new recurring gift:

Set up your recurring gift on our new system by selecting your missionary or support raised staff where it says Please direct my support.

OR set up new recurring gifts by going to your missionary or support raised staff's page on our website.

Be sure to select the + Customize Dates to set the start date for your new recurring schedule.

After setting up your new support, you can view your items in your new donor profile through the link in your confirmation email or http://secure.qgiv.com/.

Giving FAQs
How do I give anonymously?
For all anonymous gifts, please contact ashlie@theupstreamcollective.org. If you are giving via donor advised funds please clarify this with your charitable organization.
How do I update my payment method?
When you log into your Bloomerang Account, go to the tab Recurring Gifts tab. There you will be able to click edit next to your recurring gift. Then scroll down to Payment Information and click edit. Then you will be able to add your new payment method.
Dedications and Memorials
When giving as a dedication or memorial online, please select the Dedicate this Gift check box on the initial giving page.
When giving by check or other methods, please specify when mailing in your gift or as a memo with the appropriate contact information.
Tax Summary
The Upstream Collective is a Section 501 (c)(3) organization. All gifts to The Upstream Collective are deductible to the full extent allowed by law as charitable contributions for federal and state income tax purposes. You will receive an official U.S. tax receipt sent by the end of January the following year by email or USPS.
With the transition, how can I see my giving history?
You can view your giving history by logging into your old Kindful donor account until January 2027 (and possibly beyond depending on the timing for Kindful sunsetting). At any time you can email ashlie@theupstreamcollective.org and request a PDF of your full giving history.
Donor Advised Funds
Many donors give via donor advised funds. Our organization name is The Upstream Collective, FEIN 26-2323938, and our physical address is 107 S Shelby St, Louisville, KY 40202. Please email ashlie@theupstreamcollective.org if further information is needed.
How to give by check?
To give by check, make checks payable to "The Upstream Collective". For missionary designated donations, please include the specific missionary's name designation in the memo line. Mail checks to:
