2023 Winter In-Person Sending Church Elements Cohort

The Sending Church Elements Cohorts provide an opportunity for church leaders to understand the Sending Church Elements, evaluate themselves by them, and strategize for how to become a mature sending church.

The In-Person Cohort gives missions leaders the opportunity to go through the Elements alongside other missions leaders from around the nation and one other member of their church. Upstream team members will lead a two-day small-group conference over the Sending Elements, followed by three online group meetings for 1-hour and three personal online sessions.

Whether you are a missions leader that is new to missions, or have been leading in missions for a while, the in-person cohort will provide you with opportunities to interact with other missions leaders, and interact with the Upstream team to help your church take steps towards maturity in sending.

The cost of the in-person church cohort is $1,250. You and another member of your church leadership or missions team are invited to come. The cohort will include:

• A retreat in Louisville, KY, arriving on Sunday evening January 29 and going all day on Monday through lunch on Tuesday, January 31. The cohort retreat will be led by Nathan Sloan and Bradley Bell.
• Three online group sessions with Upstream's President, Larry McCrary February - April.
• Three online individual sessions with Larry.
• Monday and Tuesday meals provided. Travel and lodging are not included.
