We believe that the local church has a critical role to play in God’s global mission—a role that is too often overlooked by churches, organizations, and missionaries.
Over the last several weeks and months, we have seen many changes in the way we are able to continue ministering to churches and deliver training. In order to ‘love our neighbors’ and comply with social distancing, we are offering several of our training and resources in a new online format.
These are designed to form heads, heart, and hands with new ideas and practical suggestions. As we pray, think, speak, and learn together, it is our hope that you will not just acquire new information, but that you will be left with a clear sense of how God is leading your church, including some practical next steps.
We are offering five, two-hour online training sessions for pastors and missions leaders. We will explore our Sending Church Elements that build an essential framework for healthy sending, assessing, developing, deploying, and receiving sent ones in your church. Topics for these sessions include:
Developing Missions Convictions for Your Church
Developing a Sending Pipeline
Caring for Sent Ones
Assessing Potential Long Term Missionaries
Upstream Cohorts are designed to help groups of missions leaders develop a deeper sending church mentality. The Cohorts consist of teaching from the cohort leader, group discussion, readings, and projects. We offer three types of cohorts: New Missions Leader Cohort, Advanced Missions Leader Cohort, and Specialized Cohort. For the rest of 2020, these cohorts will be in an online format—conducted through video conference calls—at a discounted price.
As always, you can find a plethora of helpful resources on our website. Check out our free downloads and other articles on our blog. You can also watch our recent webinars about maintaining a sent identity during a crisis or listen to past episodes of our podcast.
