Jesus told us that, "where our treasure is, there our heart will be also." It's not a stretch to think he meant this individually and corporately. How we steward the funding our church members give towards global missions speaks volumes to our global intentions as a church. While it is not the most interesting topic, it is important for church leaders to wrestle with percentages, giving amounts, and who the recipients of those gifts should be. In doing so we communicate to our members, to our Sent Ones, and to the Lord where our treasure is.
