Missions Leader Cohort Guide

0.00

As we encourage churches to live out their sent identity, one of the best things we have to offer is actually something we can’t offer at all. Churches need one another. No book, blog, or consultant can replace the position and perspective of those who, informed by the Scriptures and empowered by the Holy Spirit, have rooted their lives in building up their local church on mission. Thus, we regularly encourage missions leaders to collaborate. We call groups like this “cohorts”. This 5-page document is a guide for establishing a missions leader cohort. It was developed by multiple missions pastors out of their own experience of a cohort. It unpacks and provides guidelines for the following definition:

A missions leader cohort is a consistent gathering of 5-10 church leaders in the same region who hold similar mission convictions and are committed to learning from and being accountable to one another in sending well at their respective churches.
